Partnering with Comune to Raise Funds for Racial Justice

I teamed up with the folx at Columbus, Ohio-based vegetable-forward restaurant Comune to raise money for local organizations fighting for racial justice. The restaurant, known for their creative and delicious dishes, had been closed since COVID-19 stay at home measures went into place in mid March. For four weeks in June through July, the restaurant offered take home meal kits and select wine pairings, available to pick up on Friday and Saturday during pre-scheduled time slots for each customer.

The images were used on their social media channels, Instagram stories, and on the checkout page of their website where meals and wines were purchased.

During the four week effort, the campaign raised over $15,000 for The Columbus Freedom Fund, Community Freedom Coalition, and BQIC (Black, Queer & Intersectional Collective).
