Venice Beach Portraits

Taking portraits of strangers is one of the most rewarding aspects of photography for me. The process can be intimidating but that's part of its attraction. Getting outside of my comfort zone is the best way to grow, as a person, and as a photographer.

A Celestial Adventure

A Celestial Adventure

Documenting the People of IDX Fest

The 10th and final Independents' Day took place September 16-17 and I knew wanted to document one aspect of what has made this festival so great - its people. Rather than shooting candid photos of attendees and performers, I decided to lug a backdrop and lighting rig down to the festival.
